Dr. Tracy L. Gunn is definitely an overcomer and survivor! 

From domestic violence, depression, divorce, to becoming High School dropout. Later finding herself being a single mother at 17years old  Although her future didn’t look bright, but what most would have considered tragic were the very instruments that God use to assist her in implementing the faith-based program- Growing Healthy  Families.

She is a self-published Author, Advocate for Domestic Violence, Certified Family Counselor, Entrepreneur, Talk Show Host, Motivational speaker and  Empowerment/Symposium hostess.

She has over 27yrs. experience working in the Faith Based and Not-for- profit arena. ​Using her organizational & operational skills Dr. Gunn has partnered with numerous Faith Based Organizations, Community Outreaches, including local businesses in order to provide resources, training, faith-based programs, life enrichment seminars and symposiums for women, at-risk- youth and families. 

Dr. Tracy’s “GREATEST " passion is to Equip, Empower and Educate individuals and families.

 Outside of heading up the program & services of Growing Healthy Families she works within the 16th Circuit Judiciary in Kansas City MO. whereby she conducts a 21st Century Leadership group -"Equipping the Marketplace Leaders".

​

She serves on the Domestic Violence Committee of KCMBA. Dr. Gunn has further served as College Professor for 2 years on the campus of Faith Bible College and as Community Outreach Director for Emmanuel Church for 13yrs. Whereby she implemented programs and services for youth and Families in the Urban-core.

Dr. Gunn is a member of the following Association(s): Scriptural Psychology Therapists and American Missions Teams. She holds Doctorate degree(s) in the following areas: Education and Psychology, Master's Degree in Counseling, Bachelor Degree in- Business Administration with emphasis in Business Law. 

She is a Board Certified Family Therapist and CPS (Certified Peer Specialist).
